The main purpose of this website is to raise or increase respect, loyalty, appreciation, and admiration for those special individuals who are willing to unselfishly offer the ultimate sacrifice...their precious life; something that many of us never give a second thought Being the sisters of a fallen officer, We can honestly admit that even though our brother was an officer, we never gave any of this a thought ourselves (not that we didn’t appreciate what they do), but we just didn't realize how special these "taken-for-granted, forgotten heroes" are. But unfortunately through his death, our eyes are wide open. Our family has by far, exceeded a million tears each, and can tell anyone who fortunately has not lost a loved one in the line of duty, that imagining our pain and suffering does not even come close. So, through this website, it is our mission to offer support by means of a shoulder to cry on, someone to talk to, help build the Fallen Officer Memorial Museum, promote the Unity Tour, National Cops Week, and anything else that we can think of that will help the cause. It is our honor to show how much we "Truly appreciate everything" that Law Enforcement Officers do so unselfishly. We, the family of Fallen Officer Rodney F. Pocceschi, will never let anyone take them for granted again! God Bless our Law Enforcement Officers everyday. |

History
A Mission of Gratitude, Appreciation, and Respect
Upon the tragic death of their brother, Fallen Officer Rodney F. Pocceschi (End of Watch June 23, 2003), sisters Jaclyn Pocceschi Mosley and Gina Pocceschi Boyle created in 2004,
“Fallen Officers Remembered”
Mission
The mission is critical: to bring our Law Enforcement Officers home safe “everyday”!
The “Pocceschi’s” want to do everything they can to prevent other Law Enforcement families from suffering the very same tragedy.
On average, one law enforcement officer is killed somewhere in America nearly every 53 hours; the number one cause currently is gunfire. More than 62,000 officers are assaulted each year and approximately 21,000 are injured. Today, some 740,000 sworn officers put their lives on the line to “protect and serve” each and every day. They are the “forgotten, under appreciated, taken for granted” heroes.
Goal
Since the foundation of the organization, the goal to help carry out the mission has been to increase awareness, respect, and appreciation for our Law Enforcement by several means:

Anyone can participate in any of the following events that we hold:

Fallen Officers Remembered
Motto:
You are brave, strong, and willing
To do what most would not dare.
I thank you for all the help
And my promise to you is, "I will care".
I will obey the law
I will respect what you do and say,
I will tell my friends to be aware of
What you sacrifice for us each day!
